  1. Select your date range or recent timeframe measured in last X days/weeks/months/years. The shorter the period the better and faster the deletion process.
  2. Select contact(s) by clicking on the “+”. You may be presented with a permission window asking to allow Conseel to make and manage phone calls. Click Allow. You will then be presented with a contact list from your phone. Search and select the contact(s). Keep clicking on the top right check mark or “X” from the search results until you return to the SMS filters page. Toggle Contacts ON.
  3. Select Group(s) by clicking on the “+”. You will then be presented with a list of groups from your phone. Search and select the group(s). Keep clicking on the top right check mark or “X” from the search results until you return to the SMS filters page. Toggle Groups ON. Note, groups must exist and contain contacts. A group can consist of all people with whom you you went to Las Vegas with.
  4. Toggle on the “Enable SMS Deletion” located on top of the screen. This can also be turned on from the home screen. When you hit the back key to return to the home screen, you will be prompted to make Conseel your default SMS app. Click YES and then OK. That’s it! Next time the trapdoor is entered; all SMS messages matching your filters will be deleted. If Conseel is not the default SMS app, it will not be able to delete your SMS messages. To send/receive messages again, you can return to your SMS messaging app. Remember to make Conseel your default SMS app again when you plan to take advantage of Conseel’s protection.
